How it works

Four steps from damage to back on the water

  1. Lodge your claim

    Call your insurer, report the damage and get a claim number. Tell them you'd like us to quote.

  2. Send us the details

    Use our claim form to send photos, your insurer and claim number, and where the boat is.

  3. We deal with the insurer

    We prepare the quote, submit the paperwork and photos, and liaise with the assessor and your insurer.

  4. We repair it

    Once it's approved, we do the work and help you finalise anything left on the claim.

What we need to get started

The more of this you can send, the faster we can quote and get it to your insurer.

Send it through the claim form
  • Your insurer and claim number (if you've lodged it)
  • Boat make, model and length
  • Photos: the whole boat, close-ups of the damage, and the hull below the waterline if you can
  • What happened and when
  • Where the boat is now: on the trailer, in the water, or on a hardstand
  • Your phone number and a good time to call

Which insurers do you work with?
We work with all the major marine insurers, including Club Marine, CGU, Youi and Pantaenius. If you're with someone else, call us on 0495 009 996.
I haven't lodged a claim yet. Should I contact you first?
Lodge it with your insurer as soon as you can, since they'll want to hear about it early. You can still send us photos and details now: pick "Not sure yet" on the claim question and we'll call you.
Do I have to talk to the assessor?
Not if you don't want to. We can manage the claim from start to finish, including liaising with the assessor and your insurer.
How big a boat can you fit in the workshop?
Our undercover workshop takes boats up to 38 ft. For larger boats, call us to talk it through.
Do you only do insurance work?
No. Most of our work is private: fibreglass and gelcoat, anti-foul, paint, timber and detailing. See all services.
